It is with profound sorrow that the Sportiek Spins club has informed the federation of the passing of young Mia Swaelens, the nine-year-old sister of Siebe Swaelens. The loss of a loved one is always deeply painful, and even more so when it concerns a child.
The family has expressed the wish that the funeral be attended by as many people as possible wearing hockey jerseys. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, 7 February 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at Brasschaat Castle.
