The Huskies are officially Belgian Champions after a dramatic overtime victory against the Wolves in Game 2 of the playoff finals on Wednesday evening. With the championship series played as a best-of-three, the Huskies entered the night with the opportunity to finish the job after winning the opening game earlier in the series.
The final proved to be every bit as intense as expected. Both teams delivered a high-level playoff battle filled with speed, physicality, and determination. The Wolves, fighting to keep their title hopes alive, pushed the Huskies to the limit and forced the game into overtime after an incredibly tight regulation battle.
With the pressure at its peak and the championship hanging in the balance, the Huskies delivered the decisive moment.
In overtime, the Huskies found the game-winning goal that secured not only the victory, but also the Belgian championship title. The dramatic finish sparked huge celebrations from the players, staff, and supporters as the Huskies completed a perfect 2–0 sweep in the finals.
The overtime winner also allowed the Huskies to avoid a decisive third game that would have been played in Jumet, making the victory even sweeter for the newly crowned champions.
Throughout the finals, the Huskies demonstrated why they were among the strongest teams this season. After an offensive performance in Game 1, they showed resilience and composure in Game 2, finding a way to win under immense playoff pressure.
The Wolves deserve credit for a courageous performance and for forcing the champions to dig deep until the very last moment. However, the Huskies proved unstoppable when it mattered most and earned the right to lift the Belgian championship trophy.
After a thrilling playoff campaign and an unforgettable overtime finish, the Huskies can now celebrate their place at the top of Belgian inline hockey.

Nineteen games. Nineteen wins. Zero defeats. The Wolves U14 have completed a perfect season and stand as the very first official champions under the banner of the Belgian Inline Hockey Association and the Belgian Rollersports Federation.

With 311 goals scored against just 33 conceded, and 38 points on the board — 14 clear of their closest rivals — the Wolves left absolutely no doubt about their dominance. This title was built game after game, with the consistency and collective character that define great teams.
The achievement goes beyond the sporting result itself: it opens the honours board of a restructured competition, and the Wolves’ name will forever stand first on it.
The regular season is not quite over, however. A few U14 fixtures remain to be played to settle the lower placings, giving the squad a chance to stay sharp before the event that is already on everyone’s lips: the Ultimate Games, from May 1st to 3rd in Eeklo. The annual showpiece of Belgian inline hockey, where legends are made — and where the Wolves will arrive with a champion’s medal already around their necks.
Congratulations to the Wolves U14. Belgian Champions 2025-2026. Well deserved.
Coach Maxence Leenders published this morning U17 selection on the road to European Championship who will probably be held in Ireland during Summer. Congratulation to all these players who worked hard to continue the adventure.
